Lilacs

Syringa vulgaris ‘Charles Joly’—This French hybrid lilac has an abundance of purple buds that open into double, fragrant, magenta flowers that are excellent as cut flowers. Strong, long lasting shrub with an upright shape. Does best in well drained soil.

Charles Joly Lilac
COMMON
Syringa vulgaris—Single, extremely fragrant purple flowers bloom in May. This hardy upright, vase shaped shrub with blue-green foliage is perfect for hedges or screens. This lilac was brought by the earliest settlers from Europe.
