Ribes alpinum -- Dense glossy leafed shrub suitable for hedges in open or shady area. Small greenish flowers in April-May. Responsive to shearing.

Cotoneaster
Cotoneaster lucidus -- An excellent hedge plant that withstands pruning. Small pink flowers bloom in spring and are followed by black fruit. Free from insects and disease.

Honeysuckle Arnold's Red
Lonicera tatarica 'Arnold Red' -- Profuse flower display and brilliant show of fruit each year. Darkest red blossom of any honeysuckle. Fragrant flowers in May followed by large bright red berries through June-July. Easily grown in reasonably well-drained soil.

Pea Shrub Siberian
Caragana arborescens -- Bright yellow flowers in May-June. Extremely hardy and drought resistant. Tolerant of pruning. A good plant for use as a hedge, screen or windbreak.
